SAN LUIS OBISPO – Delivering as promised, Backspace Communications, LLC, has released their interactive video on demand and pay-per-view services completely revolutionizing entertainment choices to the consumer.
Rounding out their offering of broadcast television channels and premium quality movie packages, Backspace has now added these new feature rich services to their compliment of entertainment services.
Viewers can choose from over 500 movie and television titles to watch at their convenience. They can pause, fast forward and rewind, stop and restart the program whenever they desire.
“It is one of our more resource intensive services from both a personnel and an infrastructure standpoint but, it is something our subscribers have expressed strong interest in”, according to Joseph Lea, the company’s CTO. And from the standpoint of the cable and satellite MSO’s, it should prove to be one of Backspace’s more lucrative ventures as well.
In addition,Backspace subscribers can now enjoy pay-per-view specials. Without having to subscribe to a specific channel for the entire month, viewers can now choose to watch their favorite pay-per-view channels and specials on a time limited basis at their leisure.
Clearly, another step forward for the IPTV / Telco TV emerging marketplace as well as for Backspace Communications and their subscribers.
