Cambridge, 10 March 2004 - ANT Limited has appointed David Bell to manage its expanding professional services business. He will be responsible for developing and delivering a wide range of engineering and support services to the company's global OEM, silicon, telco and consumer electronics customers. ANT Limited is the partner of choice for TV-interface software, content-rendering solutions, and embedded browser technologies.
Bell and his expert team will deliver a portfolio of design and consultancy services to assist ANT's customers in deriving the maximum value from the ANT Fresco browser and ANT PurePlay media manager software ranges. Professional services offered include porting, optimisation, user interface design, custom product development and bespoke training.
"David's extensive project-management and team-leadership skills will be of great benefit to ANT in further developing our healthy services business," said Stephen Reeder, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at ANT Limited. "We have already seen that customers using ANT's engineering expertise are able to reduce their time to market and so launch ahead of their competition. Bringing over 20 years of engineering and management experience with him, Bell comes to ANT from Tality, an electronic design services company, where he was Operations Services Manager providing support to over 100 design engineers and project managers. Prior to that he was with Acorn Computers as Systems Development Manager, responsible for consumer product development. Previous experience includes roles with Xerox in the US, and Marconi.
Bell has an Electronics Degree from Southampton University and is a Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
